Here's what previous attendees had to say about the Ladies' Coastal Culinary Adventure:

I had such a wonderful time and learned a lot. It is obvious that you put a lot of time, energy, thought, and most importantly, heart and soul into planning and executing the weekend. Your passion for all you do is inspiring. — K.L.

Your culinary and saltwater skills were amazing to watch and be a part of. I kept saying to myself and to others: I want to do that, too! I also learned a lot about paying more attention to the foliage and wild foods on my farm and in my garden, and then, based on your teachings, being able to turn what I find into something edible and beautiful. Your vision and creativity with food and foliage has inspired me! — N.K.

Thank you for the beautiful work of art in food preparation, in its presentation, and in its health benefits. Your expression of care was demonstrated in each meal and in each dessert. Julia Child has nothing on you with your joy of cooking! I have grown in the knowledge of foraging, fishing, and in the peace of experiencing the wetlands. What an adventure! — P.R.

I doubt I would have been able to land that humongous flounder by myself without the expert coaching from Susan’s husband Shannon! Now I see why they’re called “saddleblankets!” Then, I learned how to scale, gut and gill it, and prepare it for stuffing. Susan even vacuum-sealed it and iced it down for my trip home. What a treat to serve it to my friends, knowing I had handled the whole process from the bay to the plate! — C.G.K.
